I will never forget, ever meeting the General Manager, whom registered me, for a room.
I wanted to get a discount, by using my AARP card, which she stated I was to young to have
a card like that and this "Manhattan is a college town?"
She thought I was trying to pull a fast one on her, and she was not having it. Note: I am a young looking 49 years old. Wife is older and we have a family AARP, which the card is
in my name. Ms. Morris was not going to be fooled, and no one was trying to fool her.
Give the discount, provide service, and don't discriminate.
I will never forget the scene, in which other waiting for service, thought I was the bad guy for being rude to her.
