We stayed at this location for two nights during graduation weekend—December 2011. Overall the hotel stay was pleasant except for some minor inconveniences. On a positive note, the front desk staff are all very courteous and helpful. If they don’t know the answer to a question they will try to find out for you. At least that’s what I encountered. Now the negatives:
1) The computer in the lobby is quite unreliable. It took approximately 15 minutes to connect to the Internet. The hotel desk representative stated that many people staying at the hotel were trying to get online at the same time.
2) Parking was definitely a problem the weekend we stayed. We circled around the hotel several times each night to try and find an available parking space.
3) The guest rooms are not soundproof by any means. On the first night, I could literally hear a coin drop from a guest staying in the room above us. Since we also had a window overlooking the main street, noisy traffic could be heard as well. I would recommend that you request a room away from the street if you’re a light sleeper.
4) Unfortunately, the hotel staff are a bit slow when fulfilling requests. For example, we asked for extra towels to be brought to our room and waited approximately an hour for them to be delivered. Perhaps the hotel is understaffed.
