I was really unnerved when I pulled into the parking lot behind the hotel and found a large group of guys smoking, drinking, listening to loud music, and making lots of noise. Later, I was concerned that every time I entered or left the hotel I'd find three or four other guys talking on their cell phones in various areas of the same rear parking lot. I don't know what they were doing, but they were there all the time and the calls didn't sound personal.

The hotel's rear parking lot seems to have found purposes other than providing convenience for guests.

The hotel itself is not in great shape - there is a lot of wear and tear on the building, furniture, and carpets, and most of the common areas look a little dirty. The bathroom had not been cleaned in the first room we were given, which was pretty gross. We ended up in a room that was in better shape, but still needed some cleaning in the bathroom. We stayed multiple days and discovered that they don't clean the bathrooms when you stay over. It was okay for the rate, but we will be looking for something cleaner next time, even if it's more expensive.

Stayed while traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday. The room was great for the price ($51 plus tax), the front desk people were very friendly and helpful, and the room and hotel were very clean. I would definitely stay again.

The La Quinta Inn was just adequate all around. The rooms are clean but average but the rooms and hallway on the ground floor have low ceilings making it feel closed in. I thought the rooms were a bit over priced for what they were and everywhere smelled like cleaning solution. It was conveniently located near shopping and food. A Denney's is direcltly next door. The drive into the hotel is a bit hard to find. They allow pets so expect to hear barking dogs at various times and despite no smoking allowed expect to smell it passing by some rooms. All in all it's just an average motel.
