I must commend Kat and Angela for their wonderful professionalism and courtesy shown to me during my two days at the hotel. They were friendly, engaging and responsive to my every question. Both are to be highly commended.

It is always good to know what to expect.
This is my third visit to this Crowne Plaza, and it is still a great property!
Service is excellent. Rooms are well taken care of, good work space, and comfortable. Most rooms have the Sleep Number beds, good if you like those.
The only down side in the rooms is the vintage, old school TV set. They have not yet upgraded, but there is good channel selection.
Restaurant has a great breakfast buffet (not free, but reasonable), and the dinner selections are good.
No reason to look around, this is a great spot.

I was there for a 4 day business trip.
I stayed here because it was rated #1 on trip advisor,
but I was concerned because there were a few bad reviews.
Others who were attending the same concefence as me were staying
at a different hotel that had a "special" rate (which was funny because my rate via expedia was actually cheaper than their special rate, LOL ! ).
Glad I did stay here because this place was GREAT!
Nice layout, my room had 2 entrances which was awesome.
I had great food and drinks right at the restaurant and everything you could ever want was so close. Room was ok, maybe that is where some of the bad reviews came from.
The first night I noticed one of my beds kind of stunk like puke (couldn't figure out which one it was), so the next night I switched to the other bed and it was fine. Furnishings and TV are kind of outdated but no big deal.
Staff was very very nice, especially the guy at the front desk. Wish I could remember his name, thin black guy about 5 ft 9, always smiling and extremely polite. Great front desk person, you just can't teach that !
I would love to stay there again.

My husband and I brought our two daughters to KC for a weekend to visit the AG Store at the Overland Park Mall, which is just a few blocks from the hotel. The hotel was great - nice pool and hot tub and a very good breakfast buffet in the morning.
