I stayed at the American motel this past weekend. The clerk that checked us in was all smiles. It had been a very long day and they made me feel welcome and glad to be off the road. If we ever travel back through the Kansas City area we would be glad to stay at the Ameican Motel again.

This hotel was pretty dirty, the staff was shady and edgy. The room's lamps didn't work, the faucet was loose...and it was really an uncomfortable situation.

It wasn't the worst I'd experienced...but I just wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

...at all.

I had arrived there in morning and had a very rude older women look like manager act like if I was trash.
I was placed i front area and was not happy due to highway noise.
When I spoke with other customers short stay and long term they told me that the front was for people that were either locals or that the staff did not trust in any other rooms
Housekeeper name starts with M did not want to do our room the next day with out us leaving the room. As we were leaving the room an older housekeeper lady was cursing up a storm due to some on leaving garbage out side the door .
Over all I would not recommend any one stay here!!!
