I'm staying here for a few days while moving out of my apartment and preparing to move out of the country. I chose it because I'm on a budget. They have new management, and they've definitely made some improvements since I stayed here for a night about a year ago. The rooms are *clean*. Spic and span--even the bathroom. There's only one outlet in the whole room :( but they have put a 6-plug strip on it so you can plug some personal items in, as well as have the microwave, fridge, and tv plugged in. The coffee's...okay. There's a 4-drawer old dresser that I barely trust my clothes in, but it's available non the less. Waterpick shower head and soft water. Small table with two uncomfortable armed chairs. Somewhat noisy heating/cooling unit. The covers are...clean enough. They weren't refreshing to get under, but they didn't feel like they were making me dirtier by using them either.
My only real complaint about this place is the bed. It's yet another cheap hotel where it feels like you're sleeping directly on the coils. Even just a weak touch with two fingers lets you feel the coils underneath the sheets. My poor back. :( Also, there's not enough covers. This seems to be a common theme with hotels. I'm a person that prefers to have the room cold, and lots of blankets. There's one sheet and two thin blankets.
Thin walls. Very thin. You can hear everything (EVERYTHING) the people in the room next to yours are doing. And everything people down the hall are talking about.
Overall, great deal for the price, but would not recommend staying here long term--only for a night while traveling.
