“Very Basic with few amenities”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2010

If you are just staying one night, it's ok. Had to ask for more pillows, only 1 packet of coffee and no decaf at all. The room had no blow dryer.
The side door isn't locked at all.
We have stayed in a lot of equally priced hotels and this one had less of the amenities that you expect to see in a motel.
Continental breakfast was in one corner of the lobby with no place to sit. It was get and go. It had coffee, orange juice, cold cereal, bread, bagels, packaged honey buns and muffins. It was enough to get us on our way. It is being run as cheap as possible.

“You can't beat this one for the price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 May 2010

I called a few hours outside of Junction City and asked for the AAA rate and was booked in a single room right away at a substantial discount. This hotel appeared to be fairly recently updated and everything was clean and newly painted inside and out. Nothing especially fancy but the queen room was pretty large and the bathroom was clean and well appointed. All-in-all a good nights rest and the staff I encountered were pleasant and very helpful.

“Outstanding Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 April 2010

My husband just phoned me and asked me to post this about the Econo Lodge. He stayed there last night and said that the staff went above and beyond in helpfulness and service. He has been driving across the country and has stayed in various types of hotels and didn't really have any high expectations about his stay last night. He now can't say enough about the courtesy he was shown!

“Uncomfortable Beds, but Otherwise Good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 March 2010

I'm staying here for a few days while moving out of my apartment and preparing to move out of the country. I chose it because I'm on a budget. They have new management, and they've definitely made some improvements since I stayed here for a night about a year ago. The rooms are *clean*. Spic and span--even the bathroom. There's only one outlet in the whole room :( but they have put a 6-plug strip on it so you can plug some personal items in, as well as have the microwave, fridge, and tv plugged in. The coffee's...okay. There's a 4-drawer old dresser that I barely trust my clothes in, but it's available non the less. Waterpick shower head and soft water. Small table with two uncomfortable armed chairs. Somewhat noisy heating/cooling unit. The covers are...clean enough. They weren't refreshing to get under, but they didn't feel like they were making me dirtier by using them either.
My only real complaint about this place is the bed. It's yet another cheap hotel where it feels like you're sleeping directly on the coils. Even just a weak touch with two fingers lets you feel the coils underneath the sheets. My poor back. :( Also, there's not enough covers. This seems to be a common theme with hotels. I'm a person that prefers to have the room cold, and lots of blankets. There's one sheet and two thin blankets.

Thin walls. Very thin. You can hear everything (EVERYTHING) the people in the room next to yours are doing. And everything people down the hall are talking about.

Overall, great deal for the price, but would not recommend staying here long term--only for a night while traveling.
