Our room smelled musty, the service was poor. Our sheets had a stain on them, and when we placed our card on them (indicating that we wanted the sheets changed), they did not change them. Instead, they just remade the bed with the dirty/soiled sheets.
Breakfast was OK, but no fruit and the gravy came from gallon cans (the storeroom door was left open while we ate).
Overpriced, rundown, poor service. While checking in, the young lady istated that the man on tv being charged for murder should "be burned." I'll never stay here again ever, and I am from this part of Kansas. We'll stay across the street at the Super 8 any day, and for half the price.

I'm traveling across country with my husband and 2 dogs and selected Baymont after seeing it listed on dogfriendly.com. The room opens to the outside which would make me nervous except that the dogs are on full alert for any noises. I booked the location because they stated this was a two room suite - however, the rooms are not separate and it's not possible for two individuals to watch 2 different programs on the 2 TVs provided. Room smells musty and is okay but really not worth the money. There's some highway noise as well as noise from other vehicles parking in front of the rooms and folks walking back and forth. Went to get ice and boy was that an old crummy smelly space. I would definitely NOT put that ice into a drink since only god know when the ice machine was last cleaned. Probably full of mold. Grounds are pretty crummy - area on the side of the building is filled with cigarette butts. Front desk clerk was pleasant but hotel is really not on a par with other chains with newer properties.

This Baymont is located immediately off I-70, so it's very easy to find. Upon check-in, we were greeted by very friendly and professional staff. The only downside to our whole stay would be that our doors open directly to the outside, but that still was not a problem for us. This hotel has recently been remodeled and was exceptionally clean and very comfortable!
Our room had two queen beds along with a mini-fridge and microwave, a desk and awesome desk chair. The mattresses were very comfortable, each bed had three pillows. I had brought my own pillow along, and didn't even use it for this trip. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and had a showerhead with adjustable spray settings. The TV also had a remote. The other room I booked had a King size bed, but did not have a fridge/micro. It also had the desk/chair and was extremely roomy. Even though it was right off I-70, we did not notice any noise, other than a firetruck that went by in town. The breakfast was very good the next morning. We talked to the housekeeping staff when we were checking into our room when she was cleaning the room next to us. We told her then we were so happy to see clean rooms, she thanked us and said they're supposed to be clean!
I noticed these reviews are not very recent, so they were probably before the remodel. Also, as a KS resident, I know from the CO border to Salina (I-135), there are not very many towns along the interstate. Starting at Salina, there are many towns from that location to KC, as it is extremely populated compared to western KS.

We stayed there for a wedding and it was a horrible experience. They charged us a lot more then the going rate so they could give the bride and groom a "free" night. I ended up paying for their room because I actually saved money along with everyone else staying their for the wedding. Besides all of that the rooms are small and were not clean.
