“Good Overnight Room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 April 2011

We stopped when traveling home from the southwest as it was snowing so badly! The room was clean and just fine for what we needed.
The breakfast was the usual that one gets at most motels these days.
The pool area was nice enough. Good hot tub and heated pool.
Good wifi

There really weren't many choices for restaurants, but there is Walmart nearby with a grocery store.

When traveling in the area, we would stay again.

“Best Hotel In Goodland!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 February 2011

I would have to say that this hotel does a great job. It was snowing when we were traveling & we needed to stop because it was getting so bad. I travel this route quite often & stay at this hotel when I pass through, They did a super job making sure snow was cleared so you could drive straight up to the front door. The staff was very accommodating & even helped me bring my luggage in with all the snow. They have updated the rooms since my last stay here & have new flat screen TV's which was nice since I was stranded in the snow. Breakfast was great especially the waffels! At some hotels they make you feel awkward like you need to hurry up & Eat & get out of there, But not here the staff is very welcoming & make sure you feel at home. Hats off to them!

“Should've driven to next town”

Both of us were not pleased at all. It had snowed a couple days before & the snow wasn't cleared very much by front door & parking lot not cleared at all. Husband couldn't get in the locked back door where told to park due to snow drift & then the key wouldn't work because lock was frozen. The room itself was clean enough, but sure glad we only stayed one nite. Breakfast next morning left a lot to be desired. We had been traveling for over 2 weeks, stayed at a lot of Comfort Inn & Suites & this was, by far, the worst one. Keep on driving & pass this Comfort Inn up.

“Nice enough place to stay. $100.00 is quite pricey tho.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2010

Had a very nice stay at this hotel. Room was clean enough... sorta a clean freak myself, so I don't try to be hard on others. Loved the shower and the pillows are awesome! Great nights sleep!
I'd bring in a bottle of water to brush teeth with, because the water tasted nasty...but I'm use to awesome NC well water~
Great selection for breakfast!

“Not the best - by far.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2010

We were in Goodland for two nights. The room was adequate...but the service was lousy. We had reservations for two nights and confirmed that at check in. The second day the room was not cleaned. The beds were made...housekeeping came to the door in the afternoon to ask how many towels we needed...but they did not clean the bathroom, empty the trash cans, refresh the toiletries, etc. When we tried to use the room card to enter the back entrance on the second evening - it didn't work. They said there was something wrong with our credit card "hold" for the room. The same happened at check out. Funny - the card worked at the gas stations and other places we used it that weekend.

The room had an unusual odor - maybe it was a "pet-friendly" room.

We wanted to use the Free in-room WIFI...but got so many WARNINGS from our virus protection that we didn't. So - I went to the lobby to use the shared PC - but it was not working. When I asked the front desk - they said they had a MAJOR VIRUS attack. Now - WHY would they even give the password/log in instructions to guests????

My advice - spend a few more $$s and stay at the Holiday Inn Express...it looke much better.
