We stayed at the Days Inn for one night and had a very restful sleep here - we specifically asked for a quiet room and were on the second floor overlooking the indoor pool. Good points: inexpensive rooms, heated indoor pool, buffet Chinese restaurant on property (average food), Walmart next door and rooms roomy and averagely clean. Not so good points: Hallways did smell a little funky from old smoke, basically the whole hotel needs an overall (peeling paint, carpets in hallways/stairs need vacuuming), housekeeping could be a little more vigilant with the cleaning - our toilet bowl was a little gross and needed a good scrub - I found this just before we checked out, otherwise I would've insisted someone come clean it! We had a connecting room for our two kids, and the door to that room wouldn't lock properly (neither did their tv remote or our phone) so we had to use the chain and brace a suitcase by it - we did mention this to management in the morning. Overall I would say you could do better than staying here, but you could do a lot worse. If you're really fussy about the quality/cleanliness of the rooms (the type of person to freak if you spot a dust bunny in the corner), go elsewhere. Otherwise the hotel is okay for an overnight stop.
