I had tried 3 motels before luckily I found the America's Best Inn. The motel I had stayed in before did not care if there was something wrong with the rooms, The 2nd one put me in a room that was already occupied. That was when I found Best Value Inn. it is by far the best motel in dodge city that I have tried for the value, you can't beat it. The staff is very attentive when needed, I don't know about any service on the rooms as I haven't had any problems to be fixed. I would highly reccomend the motel to anyone who is looking for a good, clean, place to stay, I have stayed 4 days a week since the last of August or 1st of Sept. and would not stay anywhere else.

We were on a 5,000+ mile round trip from New Jersey to Taos, New Mexico
We arrived in town quite late and found many places were fully booked. All we wanted was a place to sleep for the night in a good location at a reasonable price - that would also take our dog - a small cocker spaniel - this motel was perfect for what we wanted.
We ate nearby at Montana Mikes Steak house which was great - there must have been a rodeo going on as there were lots of diners in cowboy attire - some still with their spurs on!
I LOST MY CELL PHONE ON THE TRIP - DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS AT THIS MOTEL UNTIL A FRIEND TOLD ME AUGUST 30 THAT SOMEONE ANSWERED A CALL ON MY PHONE FROM DODGE CITY MONTHS EARLIER - SAID HE FOUND IT IN THE PARKING LOT OF A MOTEL - I CALLED THE MOTEL AND SPOKE TO THE OWNERS WHO SAID THAT IT WAS HANDED IN & THEY STILL HAD THE PHONE AND WOULD MAIL IT TO ME RIGHT AWAY!
I WAS AMAZED THAT THEY HAD KEPT IT THAT LONG AND WAS VERY PLEASED ABOUT THIS.

Wish I had read the other reviews before we stopped here. Not only was it just yukky, they had a pool that had been drained and was partially filled w/ rain water & trash.
Spend a few $ more and stay somewhere else.

We checked in and got fairly settled in the room. After about 30 minutes we noticed a few bugs. On closer inspection discovered they were roaches.We quickly shook out and packed our stuff back in the car. My husband fought with the guy at the front desk and finally took him one of the roaches to show him. We got refunded half of the price so payed $40 for about a half hour stay. The front guy told us they had been spraying frequently for bugs. Will never stay here again!! Luckily we have family in the area so were able to crash on the floor there. Then had to spray everything down. What a pain in the butt.
