We stayed at the Super 8 in West Union on Saturday, October 14th and Sunday, October 15th. I made reservations in advance back in July. Because it was homecoming in the area, the motel was full by late August.

We had a non smoking king room. I had requested a room on the first floor and was glad to have the request honored. There is no elevator in the motel. The motel is only 2 floors plus a basement. Our room was standard motel - a king bed, table with 2 chairs, and TV. The sink was outside the actually bathroom. The room was clean, the bed was not the most comfortable but fine for a couple of nights.
The motel offers a continental breakfast which consists of cold cereal, toast, bagels, juice, fruit, doughnuts, muffins, and coffee.
The motel also has a small indoor swimming pool in the basement along with a nice size jacuzzi - which we enjoyed and used 3 times in our short stay.

There are 3 "fast food" places within a block of the motel.
The front desk staff were okay. They did not key our room for 2 nights as I had reserved so I had to go and have them rekeyed. Also when we went to check out, there was no one at the desk - iit took several mintues for someone to come - she said she had been doing laundry. (Neither are big deals)

My husband did leave his planner at the motel and they did call and tell us they would send it. Unfortuantely, I did not ask how they were sending it. Turns out it was sent COD by UPS. Since both of us work no one was home when they tryed to deliver it. I ended up having to call UPS and have them change the address to my business.
All in all this is an okay place for a few nights if you don't require frills.
