I came into town with a friend for the shopping package and we just had a great time. We came on a Thurs and Friday. Thurs night they had a social hour for their guests and it was just really nice to feel at home while we were away from our families. We will definently be back!!!!!!

Walked in for a room when we needed to stop for bad weather. We'd stayed here a year ago and first tried closer properties a few miles away but rates were too high, so we returned to this Hampton Inn, and it was worth the extra couple miles. It's clean and staff are friendly. Pool was very nice and breakfast improved from last year - beyond continental breakfast to now including hot sausage and french toast sticks. Our room was very, very quiet. Bedding is ultra-comfortable.

Hampton that has been rehabed this year. This is the best, cleanest Hampton we have ever stayed at. Nice staff. Standard Hampton features. If you haven't tried Hampton lately they are really nice for the money. Breakfast is minimal, but enough to get you on the road. Free USA Today M-F. Free Wireless internet in room. Great beds, pillows and bed linens. 24 hr coffee in lobby and coffee maker in room with coffee. Stayed 1 night on cross country drive. Don't miss this very nice hotel just off I-80. We had dinner at The Club Car Restaurant in Clive about 5 min away. It was a very nice local restaurant/bar restaurant.

My husband and I recently stayed one night at this hotel on our way to Kansas City. The rooms have been recently updated with beautiful wood decor, one of the nicer Hampton rooms we have stayed in. Our only complaint was the amount of highway noise in our room. The location, just off I-80, is convenient but very noisy during the night from the truck traffic. If you sleep soundly, this is a nice hotel, although maybe a little pricey for Des Moines.
