The check-in for this hotel is a little different in that the office is an actual office where you sit at a desk with the clerk. There is an elevator to get to the upper floors which is convenient. The hotel is getting a little old and the amenities are worn. The shower has an old shower head with light pressure and soft water. The kitchenette was nice and full size stove and refrigerator. It was very cold outside and it was clear the heater had not been on in my room for quite some time as the room was freezing and the heating system never blew true hot air just got luke warm and it took over five hours to heat the room. The bed was very comfortable but the blankets and sheets were itchy. Overall it was okay but nothing great.

The room was huge--bigger than expected even for a suite--but sparsely furnished. It was basics at best. The bed was OK. Nice to have a refrigerator to keep our dinner leftovers. We were staying only one night so it was tolerable.

I stayed in this hotel last night after the Tech N9ne concert along with a few of my friends. We had a double room, and a room down the hall, the rooms were pretty cool and the staff were nice enough when we arrived but within ten minutes of us getting back from the concert we got told if we got any complaints that the cops would be called. We held our noise down as much as a group of our size can but sure enough, 3am as we were all getting ready for bed anyway the cops were at our door. Then this morning, all of staff glared and acted as if we were horrible people. If your looking for an afterparty, don't stay here. We weren't even partying hard and still got treated badly because of it.

I booked this hotel three months prior to my check in date. Four days before I was due to check in, I received a call from the hotel indicating that they could not honor my reservation because of "stay overs". This forced me to scramble at which time I found that there were no other acceptable hotels in the area available. As a result, I was forced to stay 20 miles west of town. Beware! This hotel may do the same thing to you if they have stayovers.
