Upon seeing the Comfort Suites, my husband said, "It's all good!" The whitewashed hotel, porch, and rocking chairs were very inviting! We had a spacious room that included a big bathroom and a good shower (for some reason, we were in a unit equipped for the handicapped.) The room featured a comfortable bed. cable TV, a loveseat, chair, and desk, a coffee-maker, and a refrigerator. We received two complimentary beers, which we enjoyed on the porch, people-watching. Also included was a free breakfast. I also enjoyed a swim in the pool and a soak in the hot tub. Ahhhhh ...

Although we travel quite a bit, we rarely stay at Comfort Inns. The Hotel itself is showing a little wear. The rooms were very clean. It may be time for a remodel the rooms in the near future. (bathroom sink, counter in room) The desk size was very nice for working. The breakfast was a disappointment. We made it to breakfast for two of the 3 days in which we stayed at this hotel. Breakfast was sub par on both days. Both days biscuites and gravy was served as the only hot item. The cereal and muffins are near the pool door and easy to miss. The muffins were dry and stale. This was the poorest breakfast we have had at a hotel in many years. The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and ready to serve. Internet connection was spotty. Sometimes we were able to receive connection and sometimes not. The pool was water was warm and the hot tub was larger than typical. I appreciated the clean room and staff, however I would not choose to stay here in the future.

We stayed here just one night and found the place to be clean and comfortable for the most part. Excellent corner work station for the laptop and good internet access.

We had trouble figuring out the heating/AC system. The room was a little cool when we came in, so we wanted to turn the heat on for just a few minutes to take the chill off. The temp. on the thermometer said 73, and we bumped the thermostat all the way up to 77--still no heat turned on. Gave up at that point because it wasn't that major an issue. We never seem to have good success regulating heat/AC with a wall thermostat and the unit under the opposite window. If there's a trick to these, I wish the management would post a sign.

Very good continental breakfast, but not enough seating during the busy time when we were there.

All in all, a very good lodging, and we'd stay there again.

Nice, comfortable rooms with a huge pool and hot-tub. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast top notch. Ate at the machine shed next door and had a great meal (get the fried chicken). We had a pool side queen suite room and it was convenient for the kids however it was a little noisy later at night. Overall a good stay and good value.
