This was a great place to stay in the middle of Iowa and we're so glad we stopped. We probably wouldn't have found it except for the good reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel was very clean and modern, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was relatively inexpensive. The continental breakfast was a good start to get us going on our way in the morning. All-in-all a good choice and we may try to stay again on our way back home!

We stayed at the Americinn in Stuart on our way to MInneapolis. The room we had was the King suite with Jacuzzi tub. The room was large and mostly comfortable. The two biggest problems were that the door to the room was horribly squeaky, and the front room of the suite did not have its own cooling system, though the kids didn't complain about it. The front desk folks were very helpful and friendly. The room looked out on a field that was full of fireflies at night (a treat for us as we don't have them where we are from) and butterflies during the day. The hotel was very quiet. The pool was very nice for the kids. A pleasant and restful stop in all.

I was traveling alone from Denver to Chicago and I made a reservation at the Americinn because I thought all the hotels would be full because of Thanksgiving. I drove about 10 hours and I was a little leary about what I would be staying in. I called ahead to let them know that I was going to be late arrival. When I arrived, they were expecting me and they couldn't have been nicer! My room was right near the lobby so I didn't have to walk far and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised and I will stay there again. Thanks Tripadvisor for recommending this place. I will continue to read these reviews in the future.

We stopped at this location based on other TA reviews and its location...we were ready to get off the road. Quick check in sent us to a clean first floor room near the lobby. There is computer access in the lobby, along with coffee and cookies in the evening. We had dinner at the Subway nearby and slept well; it was very quiet. The breakfast was enough to get us back on the road fed and happy. I'd stay here again!
