I stayed here while attending a wedding and was very pleased with the the place. The service wasn't always consistent, but the rooms were very nice, cleaned very well and the breakfast was not too bad at all. There were nice walks around the golf course and through neighborhoods from the hotel and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend it if you're willing to stay a little outside of the town of Pella.

We had a reservation for a 1-bedroom suite at this hotel. When we got there, our room was a handicapped room, not a seperate bedroom, and smelled musty. Also, there was a group of kids and coached staying there and some of the kids were camped out in the hallways talking and laughing at 11:30 at night. When we tried to switch room, they didn't have any other rooms to meet our needs. We left, asked for a refund and got another room at another hotel in Pella. Definitely not what we wanted to get from a Holdiay Inn Express property. We are very disappointed.

We stayed in Pella one night during a longer trip and were very pleased with virtually everything. First, it is located in a quiet area in a golf development, so there is no traffic noise. We stayed there on a Monday night and there were only six other rooms with guests...very nice. The front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming and the breakfast attendants were most helpful in pointing out things in Pella that would be interesting to see. They were very nice! The breakfast was very good and more than sufficient. Our smoking king room, that we had requested, was very comfortable and the windows opened to a quiet, undeveloped area. The air conditioner was pretty loud and we notified the desk of the issue. Wireless internet service was good after I was able to connect. It may have been my problem, but I never had the problem before. In all, a very good experience and we would definitely stay here again.
