We spent a Saturday night here with my mother in law. She paid approximately $60/night plus taxes, which is a really reasonable rate for the town.
The hotel is well located. It's not too far from downtown Pella and is extremely close to 163, if you're heading to Des Moines.
Our room was just fine, a room with 2 queens on the first floor, facing the parking lot. It's a newer hotel, so the furnishings and linens are in great shape. Cable TV options are pretty limited, so if you're looking for 100 channels, this isn't your best choice. The bathroom was fine as well, though the bathtub was a little small. Maybe it's just the beige tile playing tricks on my eyes.
Check in was very friendly. The front desk supervisor was very cheerful for 10 pm and gave us the whole run down of breakfast hours, pool hours, etc. When we went to check out, there was no one at the desk, but we didn't feel like ringing the bell, and since the room was prepaid, we just left our key on the desk and left.
This property is fine for a visit to Pella. It's a standard Country Inn & Suites property.
