We stayed one night. The motel was easy to get to and it was quiet all night. The room was ok, but had a musty smell coming from the a/c unit. When we mentioned it to the desk clerk the next morning, she didn't seem concerned. The breakfast was very sparse - just cereal, toast, small bagels.

After a terrible experience with the Super 8 in Fairfield, IA, I moved on to this location. It's an older Super 8, but the desk clerk was quick to get me taken care of, and the room was quiet and clean. (Whereas the Fairfield location was infested with drunk kids all over.)

Nothing fancy, but I would stay here again.

We stayed one night and when we checked out the manager asked if our stay was 100% and if it was not how could she correct it. Out standing customer service. Great hotel for the money . Hard to find these days. Give it a try and you will not be sorry.

Reservation handled ok, breakfast enjoyable, rate was good. What more can I say? The manager was helpful both with things at the motel and with recommendations for local restaurants. Mt. pleasant is a pleasant town!
