This hotel has spacious rooms, clean and well kept. Our only problem was the placement of the TV, which was on the right side of the bed. We had to move the table on an angle in order to be able to see it from the bed. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Service was very good and accommodating. We would stay there again.

The service here was exceptional and the rooms were nice and clean. The weekend rate was a real bargain at $79 a night. We were very surprised at how nice everything was for this price. We only stayed two nights.

Upon getting ready to check out my husband asked about parking at Pike's Mkt. The man at the desk said just use our shuttle to the light rail if you want, so you don't have to drive in. He said we don't mind if you leave your car here even though you've checked out. We did and it was great! So easy and the day pass on the light rail was only $5.50 each. The shuttle was ready in about 20 minutes and the pick up at the end of the day was only a 15 minute wait after calling the hotel.

Breakfast was just OK, but adequate. We did use the kitchen to cook at night. It had a good size refrigerator and a small stove/oven.Overall this hotel was a great value and very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Check into the motel, and settled. Turned on the teleivsion, and it wasn't working correctly. Talk to Tyler at the front desk. He came to the room, checked the television, and offered us the opportunity to move to another room. We moved, and also we had requested a rollaway which was delivered to the room quickly upon request. What I like about the this Townplace is that is always clean (we stay there several time a year), what I don't like about the Townplace is the very limited breakfast.

We were in town with a group for the Iowa State Fair. Everyone loved their rooms. The pool is small but the water was nice & warm! Our kids loved it. You can tell this hotel is new. Everything is fresh & clean. The rooms are like small apartments. There is a stove & fridge in each room. We skipped breakfast but it looked good! Can't beat the location right off the interstate.
