I went to Iowa City for the first time and I did not expect much from this hotel but it surely shined. Finding where to park the rental car was interesting but you park in the closest ramp and the hotel will validate your parking $11/day. Check in was a breeze. Our room 414 was a corner suite with 2 walls that were floor to ceiling windows. You walked into a kitchenette then the bedroom , there was a funky lounger and then a sofa and coffee table and a desk next to window... the bathroom was the best part kohler everything. huge soaker tub, glass shower, funky shallow big white sink with nice faucet nice bath products shower gel shampoo conditioner lotion Sprout I think...sink not too functional as when you spit out your toothpaste it goes onto the mirror but the sink looks great;) bed was on firm side, nice white bedding, Starbucks coffee in rooms to brew, room service breakfast was good but toast was not toasted enough, need room key to access elevators, very modern and nice for the price.
