Hotel was easy to find. Seamless check in experience. Nice clean room (2 queen beds), mini-fridge, microwave, great shower in the bathroom! TV reception was a little lacking...fuzzy picture. The room had a huge plus: the slider window opened fully! Our room faced a 50mph 4-lane divided road so it was noisy when open, but it was great to be able to get fresh air. And, the room was nice & quiet when the window was closed. Clean lobby, hallways & breakfast area. Breakfast choices were just average. Couple very minor things; a previous guest had "illustrated" the fitted bottom sheet with a ball point pen....the sheet was clean, it was clear the ink had faded with washings, but we didn't really need that particular image. And, the stopper for the sink had become disconnected. The check-out manager apologized for both. Outside of that, it was very nice. We'll go back.

When we got into our room there were dirty towels. Then I noticed a big spider. I then found another spider in which I killed. I then noticed a huge spider nest in the corner. I asked for a vacuum and I started vacuuming all the nests up and then asked for a vacuum with a wand as I needed to get the spiders under the air conditioner. The same lady brought another vacuum with a wand and this vacuum cleaner was filled with rocks. After vacuuming and getting the kids to bed my husband and I layed down to go to sleep when we heard guys outside our window very loudly yelling and swearing. We called the manager to quiet them down. The next night around 8:30 pm we were disturbed by guys wanting to change the TV and then they wanted to sell us the old TV! The breakfast was dirty and filled with nats. The kids and my husband caught hand foot and mouth disease from this hotel.

After traveling with 4 kids and a dog, across this country 3 times in 4 years, I can honestly say that this hotel is tops for value. The shower has several settings and the shower tub is very spacious, so much so that you never touch the shower curtain. It is the by far the nicest shower/tube I have used as a traveler. The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows. Inside carpet was spotless as was everything else in the room. Fitness room was also top notch, as well as having a spacious computer area for the guests. Breakfast was great with hot as well as cold food and drink. I would rate it in the top two the other being my 2006 stay at Oxford Suites in Spokane, WA. Also, I would like to add that Iowa always seems to be very tidy, inexpensive, and people friendly. Only downer was the swimming pool. It was too hot but the rest of hotel was tops in value and comfort. YOU GET YOUR MONIES WORTH HERE!!!

The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable; a refrigerator was included without an upgrade. Breakfast was typical; however, there was not fruit. The staff could be more friendly.
