My son's college swim team of 30 swimmers stayed here for a weekend-long swim meet at Grinnell College along with several parents who accompanied the team. Jennifer and her staff were outstanding. We had booked a large number of rooms and all the rooms were properly assigned to our specifications. Jennifer had been in constant communication with us before the trip and made sure that everything was in order for our arrival. The check-in process for the team was seamless and very efficient. All of the rooms were very clean and well maintained.

We had reserved the breakfast area for an evening meal for our swimmers. The staff assisted us with all of our needs to help insure that the meal was served on time. Jennifer serviced breakfast for the weekend herself and made sure that everyone had plenty to eat. (There were multiple swim teams at the hotel, with a large number of very hungry athletes!)

I was skeptical booking here after reading some of the prior reviews, but once I started communications with Jennifer I had no concerns. We have already made plans to stay at this facility on two separate occasions in the near future. Thank you Jennifer and staff for a very pleasant stay!

I travel alot for work and usually have to work at nights. The Comfort Inn in Grinnell Ia, was more than accomodating to me the other night when i showed up at 3am after working a long day/night. The lady who checked me in went ahead and extended my checkout time and, when I got up the next day, they even offered me something to eat even though they had cleaned up and put away all their breakfast foods.
I would recommend this place to anybody as it is by far the best stay I've had in a long time.

Stayed here when I accompanied my HS Sr. on a college visit to Grinnell College. The hotel was only a couple of miles out of town and it was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom, showere, etc were very clean and in good working order. Staff was very friendly, too:
Toiletries provided were limited, and we asked if they had any travel sized lotion-- the receptionist said she wasn't sure, and then she went back to the store room, dug around for a while, and finally came back smiling, with a small new bottle of lotion for us.

Comfortable room, clean, pool and hot tub, continental breakfast make this a comfortable place to stay in Grinnell. Free wi-fi.
