I have stayed at this hotel before and no problems. But came to town for my birthday and the room they gave us was horrible. The paint in the room was peeling, the outside door had a 2 inch gap at the floor,
the air conditioning did not work(when I called to complain they gave
me a fan) and the bathroom looked like a truck stop. If had, had the extra money I would've left but did not and they were not accomadating when I voiced my complaints. I will never stay at this particular hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone. It just made my birthday misserable.

We came to Des Moines for our vacation. We chose the Rodeway Inn because the room rate was very reasonable, and there were lots of ammenties. Things that were advertised as ammenties but were not included were: no complimentary breakfast, no in-room coffee maker and no high speed internet connection. There were both a small refrigerator and microwave, but the refrigerator barely worked. The rooms need to be redone, the carpet had several burn marks in it. The beds were comfortable, though, and the bathroom had both a tub and a shower with lots of hot water
