This well run budget motel is located right off I-35 and has many amentities. It is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The free wifi and the great free breakfast are really great. We would stay
there again and would recomend this place to friends.

It was late, like about 10 PM when we got there. We had reserved the room through Wyndham. The gal at the desk made me go out to the vehicle to get the triple A card, yet my card number was on the reservation, so I was not happy. Never had to do this before. The toilet would not flush a simple piece of toilet paper, as the vacuum seal was going out on it. The air conditioner-heater did not even turn on, as the cord looked like it had been fried. We opened the window..because as I said, it was late, and we didn't want to have to move everything. I told the owner the next morning about the problems. He mentioned that I might not know how to operate the heater-air conditioner. I explained to him, I stayed about half the year in motels...so I knew what I was talking about. He said he would look into it. End of story...now go away. That was the look I got from him, like he was afraid I was going to ask for a refund.....

We came to Des Moines for the Janet Jackson concert at the State fair. This location was very easy to get to from State fair grounds. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable and bedding was very crisp & clean! For the most part this hotel was quiet, except for the loud housekeeping card that was squeaking very loudly at 7 am. That was the only problem we had. The breakfast was good with hot waffles! We'd definitely stay again!

The staff was extremely helpful and very courteous. Rooms were very nice with comfortable beds. Was impressed to get a room during the busy weekend of State Fair and Knoxville Nationals.
The bar located in the lower level also was a very nice place.
We have decided this will now be our place to stay annually during the State Fair.
