24 hour shuttle, and GOOD Breakfast and it starts at 4:30.

One third the price of the downtown hotels and half the price of the Hampton Inn which sits in front of it, I was suspicious that there must be a catch. There wasn't. Room clean. Bed ok (could have been firmer). Breakfast good. Sits off LaFleur so quieter than the hotels right on LaFleur. Walked to the hotel from the airport (just north of the airport). Took number 8 bus for 1.75 to downtown (from McKinley and 14th). Don't stay often in Days Inns but this one was great and a steal compared to other hotels near the airport and downtown.

Many other places were already booked so we tried this Days inn on a short notice. We were pleasantly surprised. The place was very clean. The king bed was very comfortable and the recliner in the room was a nice touch. The large HD tv was very cool. It is a fairly large place so I am not sure if the breakfast area is large enough but we did not eat in so I can't really comment about that. We would stay there again.

My husband and I recently stayed at this motel for a night during the Iowa State Fair. We were promptly checked-in by a very nice and friendly host. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was really cleaner than most motels we've been in. The carpet was clean and the room was very well kept up. I was hesitant about staying here because of some negative reviews posted on this site. However, because of the price and location, we decided to take a chance. We were very surprised and we think the negative reviews are just posted by other jealous motel owners in the area or people with personal gripes. We were promptly checked-out the next day and in doing so, were asked how we slept by the same host that checked us in. This motel is a gem and we would definitely stay there again. We are retired and travel a great deal and we are very "persnikaty" in our motel rooms. This motel met all of our expectations.
