Four couples attending the Iowa Hog Rally in Carroll stayed two nights in mid-July at the Historical Park Motel in Denison, Iowa.
Our room had a small frig/microwave, new carpet, and decent bathroom. Walls are somewhat thin. Hairdryers are available in the lobby. We had no issues with water pressure but another couple did. Motel does not provide breakfast but coffee and small snacks are available in the lobby. There is a restaurant across the street.
The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely not fancy or new. Compared to the other motels in the area, we would return to the Historical Park Motel if in the area.
