This hotel is located on the outskirts of Davenport convenient to I-80. It was inexpensive and the proximity to the expressway are why I chose it. Like most Econo Lodges, it offered the basics, but not much more. My room was dark and underlit, the bed was worn, the linens were abrasive, and the carpet was well-used, but it was clean enough, the TV and internet worked, and the front desk personell were friendly enough. So - go in expecting to get more or less what you pay for and you will not be disappointed. I would stay here again if I were on a tight budget.

Exterior of hotel looked well-taken care of, and was next to Iowa Machine Shed restaurant, so decided to give it a go.

Rooms were small and dated. Towels were scratchy.

Main positives: a good price compared to other hotels in area, it was quiet, staff was excellent, good food next door.

I was surprised by the positive comments left by others about this place until I saw the dates of the comments. A lot must have changed. This is the dirtiest, smelliest motel I've have the displeasure of staying in. I travel cross-country quite a bit, and to say this is the worst of the worst is no small feat. What stood out the most was the stench that permeated the entire floor. If I had not been so tired that driving would have been dangerous, I would have demanded my money back on the spot and left. Mold and mildew in the bathroom (and I am not talking a small amount), towels that looked and felt like they had been in use for a decade, outdated EVERYthing in the room... man this place is the pits. If you are thinking "Maybe it's not so bad, we'll give it a shot"... go right ahead, but you were warned. This place is more suited for transients that have nowhere else to stay.

The location was fine, the price was low but the room was in need of updating ..VERY TINY bathroom and wallpaper starting to peel but it was clean, had good beds and a super heater!
