i stayed here as an alternative to the motel 6 across the street (apparently a biker convention was going on there)....paid $53 for a single. Check in was not a problem, the guy at the front desk was nice....it was very quiet, hardly saw anybody the night i was there. On the second floor there is a large area where i think they serve a continental breakfast in the morning and a computer for internet access ( i think you have to pay for it though.). My room was on the 3rd floor, unfortunately there is no elevator so had to hoof it. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, it was quite large for a single bed room. Some things were sketchy---you had to use an actual key to get into the room and the lock gave me some trouble getting in but otherwise was no big deal. Also lighting is not the best and some of the lights were unplugged. But the bed and a/c were comfortable and really that was all i cared about after a long day watching a golf tournament. In the morning i went to the indoor pool, it was warm, maybe a little too warm but it was ok. Overall this is not a bad place, it could use a lot of updating/modernizing, i think if somebody put some money into it, it could really be a nice place. I will certainly consider it again next year.
