I've stayed at the Super 8 in Cresco a number of times. Having stayed in some Super 8 that were disappointing, this one never has dissappointed. The front desk staff are always freindly and helpful, the rooms clean and cmfortable, the wi-fi fast and trouble free and the morning breakfast above average. Perhaps the best part, it is all under $60. While there a number of restuarants in town, one the pizza hut is next door, about 200 feet away. I'm sure I'll continue to stay at this Super 8 many more times.

If you just need beds, a roof, and indoor plumbing...this Super 8 will fit the bill. Anything more than that, you might be disappointed. The front desk staff was good as both the check-in and check-out processes were very quick and efficient. Thumbs up for that. The walls were "thin" as there was quite a bit of noise after 10 p.m. and no one in the hotel was actually being noisy. They were just opening and closing doors, walking halls, getting pop and snacks and ice, using sinks and showers and toilets, etc. I have to question whether there is any soundproofing at all between rooms, between rooms and halls, and between floors. The total with taxes and fees and all that jazz was about $85, and I don't think this hotel delivers value for that price. It's fine, it's okay, it's adequate, but the total bill for this class of hotel in small town Iowa should be no more than $70.
