My wife & I sold our home and needed a place to stay for sixteen nights before moving out of state. We had a very comfortable stay here. The staff (Zach, Brittney, Debra, Andrew & Karen were outstanding. They are friendly, provide superior service and are quite accommodating. We couldn't believe our room had a flat panel broadcasting in HD. Bed was great, stainless steel appliances met our needs, kitchen was well-equipped and wireless fantastic. Coffee in the lobby, laundry facilities & small exercise room are a nice touch. We brought our own pillows, theirs are not that great. Especially liked the fact that our room was so quiet. We were never disturbed by noise. We were on the first floor for three nights and then moved to the third floor which was our original preference when a room became available. All in all, this hotel was exactly what we were looking for and will definitely stay here whenever we visit the area in the future.

What a nice hotel! It is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff is top-notch, and they go out of their way to make sure that your stay is a good one. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I travel for work a lot. I stayed here for three nights on a business trip, and I intend to stay here every time I am back in Coralville/Iowa City. The internet is fast and reliable, the rooms are clean and fully stocked with necessary kitchen utensils, and it's in a great location. Walking distance from shopping/eating- Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohls, Gordmans, BWW, Jimmy Johns, Texas Roadhouse, and it's just across the highway from the Coralridge Mall.

There is exercise equipment in the hotel (treadmill, elliptical, bike, free weights), or you have the option of using a fitness center just down the road for free. The hotel doesn't offer complimentary breakfast, but that'd probably a good thing because I always over-eat at those anyways :) Each room has a fridge, stove/oven, and microwave, so it's easy to make something healthy for breakfast instead.

The hotel staff is especially personable and knowledgeable, and helped with all of my requests (lots of coping and faxing!)

I recommend this hotel to anyone. It's a very pleasant and comfortable stay, whether you're visiting for just one night or an entire week.

Being on the road as much as I am with work, it is nice to find a place that I can really relax at. The Suburban in Coralville is as close to being home as I can get on the road. I love the full kitchen with the stove, full sized fridge, double sink, and dishwasher I dont have to eat out at all. A quick trip to the store the day I check in and I am golden for the week.

The rooms and building as a whole are awsome it is only a few years old so everything is still really nice and clean. There is NO hotel room smell when I open the door to my room when I check in, many places I have been have a musty smell when the room is first opened. That is not the case at the Suburban and being a smoke free hotel the is never an ashy smell in any of the rooms.

The guest service is excellent, I never have an issue checking in or checking out, the staff is always helpfull and freindly

This is an awsome place to stay for a single night or for weeks at a time.
