This is a large, older three-story "motel" located in a suburb of Des Moines, just off Interstates 80 and 35. Formerly a Ramada property, this inn has experienced a partial makeover since changing to a Days Inn. The large lobby has ample seating space for the complimentary breakfast with two waffle makers and the usual spread of bagels, muffins, pastries, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. The parking lot is well-maintained and well-lit. We have stayed here several times as the rates are often the lowest of any Des-Moines-area hotel chain listed on the Internet. The rooms are average but comfortable. Often we have reserved a double room and been upgraded to a king room at no additional charge.
