“Overall great stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 March 2011

Stayed here for a wedding and it was a great place to stay. The customer service was great and the owner was very friendly. Took them no time before we were checked in and the room was just as I asked. The rooms were very comfortable and very roomy. Everything was very clean and this place is very well kept. Had a work out facility for me to get a good morning workout. A nice a quiet place to stay with no loud interruptions you find at most hotels. I would recommend a stay at this hotel and I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in town.

“worst hotel stay ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2010

This is the most worst hotel ever , i booked my hotel reservation online the manager/owner patrick wagner has no custer service skills and should not be runing a bussiness because he does not know what the hell is is doing. he didnt even know what priceline was. he got there at 1am and didnt get in the room til 2:30am. there was a mistake on the reservation that has us in 1 room with i bed which it should of bed i room with 2 bedsanyway he tried to tell me that i was going to have to pay extra , i was not going because i worked at hoels before and if you know what your doing, you do not show the guest the reservation from priceline because the rate is always different but it does not matter if you have 2 beds or 1 bed the price is always the same if you book it online, now the price is different if you book a suite, but to make a long stort short. i was belittled, and they false advertise comp breaskfast , i would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy

“Enjoyed my stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2010

I stayed at the University Inn while attending an event at UNI. There is an older and newer parts of the hotel. I stayed in the newer part. It was a little odd having a door to the outside and a door to an inside hallway. The room was large and very clean. I even ran my finger over the picture frames and there was no dust. The decor is a little old, but everything worked and the room was clean. There was no hair dryer, so if I stay there agin I'll have to remember that. The staff was friendly and the location was close the the university. The beds were not the most comfortable, but okay.

“Great value and staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 June 2010

Stayed at the University Inn for Sturgis Falls weekend. Booked the room because of the great price and was pleasantly surprised by the value. Rooms are not luxurious but very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My sisters also booked a room and they were very pleased as well. I stayed in Room 51, which is in the back of the hotel, facing the neighborhood - our windows looked out over someone's really lovely garden - lots of nice breezes to enjoy but if you like AC, that worked great. Will definitely return when I come home again.

“Not sure if I'd stay here again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2008

Stayed here for one night in the single bed room. It was excellent for the price, but I'm not sure I will stay here again. I will probably shell out more money next time. I stayed in a "nonsmoking" room in the front area that really had bad odors. I'm pretty sure it was from the carpet. Kind of a mildew/dirt smell. The air conditioner worked fine and didn't stink, the mattress was worn and wrapped in plastic for some reason. The bathroom was clean with good clean grout and no mold, but the sink didn't drain very well. I guess I would stay here again if it didn't stink so bad. It was just okay in my book. I was told later that the newer rooms are in the back. Maybe I'll give them a shot next time I'm in town.
