This is a recycled hotel that used to have exterior access to each room. This Days Inn put a facade on the front, but the rooms still have huge windows which face out; slightly strange because you don't want people looking into your room from the hallway, but then you don't have any natural day light or fresh air. At all. Which is the reason why all six of us got sick from the three rooms that we stayed in. Walking into the room smelled like formaldehyde and mold. Sure enough after two days we were all sick. The hotel is a bit of a science project: dust and debris sort of everywhere, holes in walls in ceiling, and all of this isn't new... it's all old. This hotel also has the most inconsiderate housekeeping staff. They banged on our door before 830am while we were sleeping, came into the room, and finally after seeing us in bed left. This didn't keep them though from making an incredible racket outside our room. These walls and hallway are paper thin and impossible to have a silent rest. The only benefit to the trip was they let us use the Holiday Inn pool across the parking lot. If you value health, stay away from this one dear travelers.
