I was in town for 2 nights for a wedding. I was traveling alone so I chose to go the cheaper route and stay here instead of the hotel the wedding party had recommended. I needed to check in early so I called ahead to ask if that was possible; the man on the phone (Ben?) said it would be fine. I checked in at 1pm and he seemed annoyed and made no eye contact/ used no customer service skills.

I had reserved a non-smoking room, which I quickly realized was a joke as all the hallways and room smelled like smoke and humidity anyway. The hotel set-up is awkard (appears to have been a motel which was later enclosed) so you have huge ceiling-to-floor windows with curtains instead of a wall facing the hallway. I was affraid of peeping Toms so I used bobby pins to close any gaps in the curtains while I was in the room. At the end of my stay, I checked out and there was a burrito smashed onto the trunk of my car (likely because my rental had Minnesota tags in Packer Country).

Overall: gross place with rude service, but not worth complaining about to the staff because what would they care anyway. I didn't think "cheap" was a gamble because Days Inn usually has a good reputation but, in this case, it was.

We had driven many hours, and were looking for a resonable place to stay. This hotel was in a Roomsaver's magazine we picked up at the welcome center. It turned out to be great. Good, clean room, firm mattress, desk clerk that should be the manager someday. His name was Matt, and we didn't believe him when he said it was his first day on the job. Very friendly, professional and helpful. Gave us a quick run-down on the local restaurants, and made sure we had everything we needed once we had settled in. Thoroughly enjoyed this place, Very clean and good breakfast. Very good restaurant right across the parking lot.

We have been on the road for 6 weeks and this was the worst night sleep we have had the whole trip. At night, the night office worker had the tv on loud and stayed in the office talking to others. Finally at midnight I called to complain and it still took over an hour to settle down and I sleep with earplugs. Usually I would turn on a fan to muffle the noise, but there was no fan. Then to top off a miserable nights sleep, the house keeper started pounding on doors at 9 am. She would knock and then barge right in within seconds. Needless to say, she woke up our kids. My husband went down to complain and the office staff was too busy cutting out coupons to care. He he told my husband, "They do it everyday". Really? We were tired when we came to this hotel and will be on a long drive today not rested. We booked this trip before I read the reviews. The bad ones hit it right on! Maybe if we were on the other side it might have been better. We will never know!
My kids did love the pool that was on the property next door.

This is an older hotel that has been updated, but still showing its age. I have had stay here more times than I can remember and there will be more. The pool and fitness room are nice but you have to go over to the sister hotel. The staff knows there stuff and is very accommodating.
