I was disappointed by the lackadaisical service here, which was not as billed. It could be because they are undergoing renovations, but breakfast had to be taken on a tray in the room, for which your order had to be placed the previous evening. No other meals available. On the first morning it was delivered two hours early and woke me up! My room wasn't cleaned at all on my first day - even though I was probably one of very few guests. They seem to host lots of events in the main lounge which I found quite intrusive in a small inn.
The room itself was very pleasant and comfortable. Although it was very annoying to return late in the day to find it hadn't been cleaned.
The highlight of the stay was finding Plum's restaurant across the street where I had an excellent lunch and dinner, and extremely friendly and hospitable service. Zionsville is a lovely place - The Brick Street Inn needs to live up to its billing. I was a guest of a local business - very shortsighted of the Inn not to do their best as they may lose other custom. The website suggests all is in order with no mention of the renovations.
