So, we took a girls trip to Vevay, IN. and stayed at The Waldo House. We stayed in the Madison Suite which is the largest suite with a living room, sauna, fireplace, bar, beautiful bedroom and gorgeous decor. It's not a B & B, but the owners, Theresa and John, graciously put out fresh fruit, and non-perishable food items such as oatmeal, granola bars, muffins and the refrigerator is stocked with an assortment of drinks. There is also little dishes of candy and chocolates spread across the house which was bad for my diet, but such nice treat! There is full kitchen with a grill out on the lovely covered patio. It was very clean, however, the only downside about this place is the smell of urine. It smelled as if many dogs were there only there wasn't. We didn't let that bother us too bad though, it was very elegant with a great view and walking distance to the Ohio River, which has a small park, and to everything in town. The museum is directly across the street. The bed was warm and comfortable.
Belterra Casino will come and pick you up and take you back home for free! And a tip, Vevay is pronounced Veevee.
We had a great experience and would stay here again.
