We left Canada July 1 for a 4 week driving vacation. This was our first stop along the way. Check in was quick. The room was clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The a/c worked well as did the television and the wireless internet. Breakfast was included and it was excellent.

My wife and 2 daughters stayed 2 nights. We were in town for a basketball game and to meet up with college friends and their families. Location was perfect for the stay as we could walk to the Hulman center. Rooms were clean a spacious. Pool was loved by the daughters. Hotel is remarkable on the outside and inside. It had been a vacant building while I attended ISU. Well construtced. There was a reception there and never heard a sound in our room. If you do need to stay the night in Terre Haute, you must stay here. Also check out J Fords Black Angus, great steaks. Off property.

We had a really pleasant stay, and enjoyed the location of the Hilton Garden, within walking distance to many restaurants, coffee houses, art galleries, interesting shops, night clubs. The downtown area was clean, and the service person, Andrea, at the front desk was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I witnessed her handle a difficult situation with tact and maturity beyond her young age, taking full accountability for ensuring the customer's satisfaction that was very impressive. Just want her manager to know, that Andreal is an asset to your facility, make sure she gets a raise, because you don't want her working for your competition! She is a terrific personality to greet and do business with a heart of service and professionalism that will keep customers coming back. She helped me join the Hilton reward system and reworked my invoice to include my AAA discount. The pool area was small but clean and warm water, for aquatic exercizing, it was very adequate. We look forward to coming back again.
