Check-in was smooth, and the floor I requested was granted. $1 "in-room safe warranty fee" added to my bill....hate safe warranty fees. The lobby was clean and no funk odors. Elevator shows some wear/abuse. Kind of older looking impression in the halls. My room was clean, flourescent bulbs, so give them a few seconds to come on when you flip the switch...thought all the bulbs were missing at first. Bathroom showed some wear, but was clean, and the showerhead was wonderful. Bed was super-comfortable, I slept like a baby. Pillows were numerous and varied in thickness. Good selection of T.V. channels. Overall, this hotel shows some wear, but I had a great sleep. Breakfast is over at 9am, even on Saturday. I'd stay here again.

We booked this hotel for a family reunion because everyone was staying here. The hotel smelled musty and smoky. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Front desk staff was not friendly at all. Room was clean, but was surprised to see only two hand towels in the bathroom - requesting more at the front solved that problem. All of the vending machines were out of soda. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Ramada Inn across the street.

We did not have a good experience at this Comfort Inn. Our AAA book rated it at 3 diamonds, which is usually pretty good. They were very wrong! The bathroom walls were falling apart. The floor looked dirty. They only gave us two towels, which were thin, stained, and the washcloth had a hole in it. Our socks were filthy from the soiled carpeting. No more Comfort Inns for us.

When we arrived at the motel I should have known it was not going to be as nice as we are use too. In the lobby there were about five huge plant containers with dying plants on the fireplace, very distasteful and dirty looking. The computer was sitting in a cold dark corner of the lobby. The night desk clerk was very plesant but the place is in need of new carpeting and our comfornter had a big rip in it. When I went into our bath there was pubic hair on the sink and mold growing in the bath tub. Our heater was so loud we could not run it at night and the hall ways were so cold it was almost unbearable. We stated Feb. 14 thru the 17 so it was below 0 outside so you can just imagine. At breakfast the next morning the trash cans were overflowing onto the floor, really trash was all around the trash can and literally on the floor. Breakfast consisted of your choice a waffle or a muffin or cereal not 1one piece of fruit to be found. And when they breakfast ends at 9am they mean 9am. People were still eating and they came took what little was there away. As I sit and watched my husband eat a waffle all I could hear was a lady at the front desk yelling at another elderly guest, "well if you dont tell us we cant help correct the problem." I dont know what it was about but the guest looked angry and I couldnt believe the tone the desk clerk. After our so called heart smart breakfast I went to the desk clerk for extra towels for our room. The clerk actually asked me how many towels were in our king room, I told her only two and she snapped at me, well that is all that is required for a king room. I told her I would like three more towels and she said she wasnt trying to get into my business but that was all they were required to give and she wasnt sure if they had three extra towels. There was two towles sitting behind her that I had to point out and I settled for the two towels. At check out I was asked if I would like a receipt I said yes. Then I was informed that I couldnt have a receipt on a free room. HELLO I reserved the room three months prior and paid over 100.00 a night, so I told her that if her computer wouldnt print a receipt that I would take a written one and guess what all of a sudden the computer would print out my receipt, go figure. To try to shorten this some, we have been coming to Louisville for the past 7 years for the farm and machinery show and this was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. We went ahead and booked at a different place for next year just so we wouldnt get stuck in another rude,dirty, outdated hotel again!!
