I consider this motel a real find not because it's fancy or in a knockout location, but because it is well maintained, clean, and has helpful, intelligent, and considerate management (I think it was the owner's son, perhaps, who was on duty at the time).
We needed a room with two queen beds, but the website only mentioned two beds (or two full beds), so I called, and he was more than happy to mark my incoming reservation for a room with queen beds, and even honored the great AAA rate. We arrived very late and he responded to the night bell very promptly.
The next morning I enjoyed chatting with some friendly and intelligent locals in the office over some make-em-yourself waffles, and we were even given an extra half hour beyond checkout time due to my wife's late return from jogging.
I don't know when/if we will get to Plymouth again, but if we do, we'd stay here in a heartbeat.
