7 of us just spent the weekend at the Comfort Inn, Plainfield, IN. The hotel was the usual Comfort Inn - nothing fancy just a clean, comfortable hotel. But - we did notice some things that just didn't sit well with us. A few of my family members went down for breakfast Sat. morning, hoping to get eggs and a breakfast meat. But they saw the employee making the eggs in the microwave - same with the breakfast sausage - and that completely turned them off of breakfast. Also the breakfast area is quite small - considering the hotel was fully booked Sat. night. The pool is very small. We had 3 teenagers with us who used the pool Friday night. There were 4 other children in it (all below the age of 7) and there wasn't enough room for the kids to swim or play. They used the pool again Sat. night and this time they were by themselves and it was fine. But the number one thing that upset me was the most was when we returned to our room Sat. night and found our door unlocked - it wasn't shut all the way. The cleaning person didn't close it properly when she got done with our room so anyone could of had access to it the entire day. Luckily for us nothing was missing but that was still very, very upsetting. The desk clerk said she was sorry and would talk to them but that doesn't help me.
