Location was very convenient for my family visit - no other hotel within 5 miles- but hotel is well used, hallways are shabby and the third floor is part smoking which makes the hallways always smell of smoke. The second floor is non-smoking and smells OK, but hallways still stained and shabby. Rooms themselves are OK, clean. So hotel is OK for short stay, but don't get a room on third floor, unless you are smoker.

Hotel is OK as long as you don't need hi speed internat. If you get a room close to a router you might get a very slow connection speed of .5mbs other wise you get no internet at all. CHEAPEST INTERNET ALLOWED BY LAW...

Hotel itself was reasonable but worn. In a good spot for my purpose, a funeral. Problem is that I stayed there four nights but was charged for five nights. The bill I received at the hotel was correct, for four nights, but a couple of weeks later, I found an additional night was added to my charge card. The manager will not return my telephone calls. Very frustrating to arbitrarily be charged like this. They must be really hurting for business to add charges like this.

We spent a Friday night at this property on our way to the Indy 500. The check in was seamless; staff provided a dinner recommendation which was exactly what we were looking for (Rack & Helen's in New Haven) and the breakfast was the scrumptious HIExpress selection which has never disappointed. Location right of the freeway; small town atmosphere while still very close to all that's available in Fort Wayne.
