My husband and I stayed here for two nights for his best friend's wedding. It was clear why the couple had fallen in love with this hotel and selected it as the site for their wedding - from the beautiful grounds to the personal decorative touches throughout the hotel to the attentiveness of the hotel staff, we very much felt at home at weekend. Check in was efficient and our room was spotless - a great start to a memorable weekend!

We were in and out of our room quite a bit the day of the wedding, which made it difficult for the maid to clean the room. Although she could have complained about this, she instead asked us when would be best for her to come back. She went out of her way to ensure that the room would be cleaned at our convenience, not her own, which was definitely appreciated.

The great service didn't just stop at check in or with the maid though. The breakfast food was replenished frequently throughout the one morning that we had it (the other morning there was a brunch for the wedding party). Our great experience ended with our request for a late check out being granted to us without hesistation.

If we ever have a need to stay in rural Indiana again, we will definitely select the New Harmony Inn.

This was our 3rd trip to New Harmony but this was our first time staying at the Inn - myself, my husband and our daughter(11 yrs. old). We had a standard, 2-double bed, room. Check in went smoothly. They offer discounts for AAA members which is nice. The room was clean and had everything we needed.

Bicycle or golf cart is really the best way to get around town. There are bikes at the Inn for guests to use at no charge. We came in on a Thursday and left on Saturday. On Thursday, the supply of bikes wasn't an issue. However, on Friday and Saturday, the bikes went quickly. We brought our daughter's bike and she really enjoyed riding around town with us. On one day, the bike I chose had a flat tire and there weren't any other bikes available. The front desk called maintenance and they gladly aired up the tire for me.

We also tried out the indoor/heated pool & hot tub which isn't attached to the hotel but is a short walk from the main building. It's enclosed in a greenhouse type building. We also used the fitness room. It's small but sufficient for a quick workout - weights or cardio. A continental breakfast is served every morning which is a nice little perk. The food was more than enough for us as we typically don't eat a large breakfast so we took advantage of it every morning.

Everything in and around the Inn was clean and we really had no complaints. We plan to stay again during our next trip.

Our weekend stay was great! The check-in was easy, we stayed in a ground floor room with a patio and lake view. The fireplace was a nice touch! Spend the extra money if you can! It was a nice touch to have the manager leave an anniversary card and small chocolate bar as a welcome! :)
We loved our stay and would recommend anyone staying here...
Refridgerators in the room would be nice, and a microwave, to heat up the coffee.

The TV reception is horrible, but then we aren't big TV watchers....

Only here for one night. We bought the dinner & room package. The whole experience was wonderful. Free breakfast the next morning. Incredibly helpful staff. Beautiful grounds.
