We've not stayed in a bed and breakfast before so I was a bit hesitant, after all I know what to expect at a hotel. What I didn't know was that this bed and breakfast has a fabulous innkeeper! Pam is an amazing hostess as well as marvelous cook and baker.

The rooms were nice, each one has it's own bathroom. The inn itself is close to all the shopping you could ever want. We parked our car upon arrival and didn't move it until we left.

Each of the two mornings we stayed, Pam had wonderful breakfasts waiting for us. The presentation was beautiful but the food was delicious!

Homemade cookies and cupcakes awaited us each afternoon.

Don't hesitate to take a chance on the Allison House.

The Allison House is a wonderful place to stay. Whether you are going for the great shopping in Nashville or going for the attractions in Indiana, you will love this place. Pam and Scott are the Inn keepers and they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice. I have stayed in most of them. There is not a bad room in the house. I always love the food. They always serve fruit and high protein. You will be able to go out and not be starving in the next few hours. One block off the main drag makes it very convenient.

We stayed at the Allison House Inn for one night in early November on our way to Louisville for the Breeders Cup. It was a great choice. The rooms are very nice as are the public areas. Breakfast was delicious -- well prepared and presented. The Inn is right in the heart of Nashville, which means you can walk anywhere in town for shopping or dining. Other attractions, including Brown Co. State Park, are just minutes away. My wife lost a scarf somewhere on our journey and the innkeeper at Allison Inn found it and mailed the scarf back to us. i would hihgly recommend staying at the Allison House Inn.

Ahhhh, nice people. The beds are COMFORTABLE and the softest sheets I've ever slept "in."

The innkeepers are the best - absolutely the nicest couple you could imagine. We had wonderful food (took away a few good recipes), nice atmosphere all the way around.

They make your stay so easy - meeting other people at breakfast is so fun.

We have made The Allison House a yearly tradition!!!
