We got a gift card to Hotel Nashville last Christmas, were a little leery of going there based on reviews on this site. Based on the legitimate reviews, not the ones obviously written by management or staff. Most of the reviews were spot-on, unfortunately. I have to say the manager I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, and the front desk staff were friendly. Everything after getting the keys was a big disappointment though. The rooms are dated, and in poor repair. The jacuzzi tub was dirty, there was hair in the bed after turning down the sheets, and there is nobody around to take care of problems like this after 10 pm. This wouldn't fly at any other hotel, so why it's ok here, at the same price as a room at the Hilton, I can't say. The exterior of the place is nice, the decks in the courtyard area are a really nice outdoor space, but they haven't spent any money inside in God knows how long. It's too bad, they could have something special here but it looks like they just don't care. Oh, and the 'complimentary coffee' that 'Lora V' was raving about was some of the worst I've ever tasted, and the breakfast is nothing to get excited about either. They also advertise having HBO but don't. Hotel Nashville promises a lot but does not deliver.
