My best friend and I stayed at the Napannee Inn for two nights as part of the Amish Acres Girlfriends Fall Weekend Getaway.
The Inn was clean, and the staff was very friendly. They do take their time getting things done, so don't expect a quick checkout. Nonetheless, the room was tidy and just what we expected for the very low price that we paid to stay there. They do give you ear plugs, and after reading reviews on here we were sure we'd be up all night with the trains, but that didn't happen at all. The train is on the other side of the road, which is far enough away to make me wonder what all these other reviews were complaining about. Neither one of us was woken up by the train.
The included breakfast was fine, but I do have to say the coffee was TERRIBLE. It had grounds floating in it both mornings we were there, but we heard it was the same over at the Amish Acres Inn, so who knows, maybe that's the way they like it. The breakfast consisted of bagels and cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, cold cereals and milk, and muffins. The milk they had was actually really delicious, so that was an unexpected treat.
Overall, the Nappanee Inn was a perfectly suitable hotel. We plan to go back next year for the Girlfriends Weekend again.
