If you are looking for a place to take your kids and have a nice relaxing vacation, go to Madonna Resort in Monticello, IN. It is walking distance from Indiana Beach. We stayed in the large cabin overlooking the lake. Just beautiful. Everything was clean and included: linens, dishes, pots & pans, towels, blankets, pillows. You basically bring yourself and food and you are set. It is a family setting, wonderful for children. Walking distance for the teens to IB campground for the arcade and waterslide. The owners are very helpful and extremely nice. The cost for this resort is very reasonable. They don't try to rob you blind for the accomodations. I would give this place a "10". We will definitely stay there again.

This place is great! The owners really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We have stayed there 2 years in a row in the bigger trailer and plan to go again this year since the experience was so good. We did not see any bugs or mice, granted it is a little later dated but that was part of the fun for us!!

Definately worth the price!

We stayed in the large trailer...and it was clean, plenty of towels, bedding, etc.

The owners went out of their way to accomodate us on a spur of the moment overnight trip. We had booked another place which reminded me of the Bates motel in Psycho!! Cancelled and went looking in hopes of finding anything else...and we did, and were so happy with it.

The quick walk to the amusement park, the friendliness the owners, the fun boat ride to the park dock!!, the view of the lake from the shade...made our trip very enjoyable.

Going again this week for two nights...same trailer. When booking Judy made sure I knew about the CVS ticket discount on Wednesday, and made sure I was getting what I wanted for the days I wanted for the best price.

Reading the other reviews, I wonder if we stayed in the same place! There are far worse and more expensive places within that stretch leading to the park entrance!!

They do not have a pool, but this was not a priority with us.

it was a little outdated but my husband and i enjoyed ourselves and the people who owned the place were very nice and helpful....its definatly not a five star resort but if you couldnt tell that by the price then i dont know what to tell you....we would stay there again
