I guess this place is OK. Not the newest hotel, but not the worst wear and tear you can see around. Elevator wasn't working. No automatic doors to enter the hotel--do they keep in mind people have luggage? Very small rooms, although clean. Bed was comfortable. Color scheme of the room/carpet/comforter was hideous.

I have stayed at this particular Fairfield Inn several times, and once again I was extremely satisfied. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great night's sleep!

I stayed at this hotel recently while on a business trip in the area. I had a pleasant stay with no problems at all. My room was a king room which had a desk and chair for work space along with a chair for more relaxed sitting. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and staff was friendly. Hotel has pool and whirlpool, internet access, and free breakfast(cereal, waffles, Jimmy Dean biscuits, juices, fruit, etc.) The hotel does not have a fitness center on site, but they do have guest pass you can use at a local gym. There is a mall and tons of other places to shop and eat nearby. Downtown South Bend/Notre Dame are only about 5 miles away. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here on a recent college visit to Notre Dame. Paid $79 (advance purchase price on marriott.com) Short drive to Notre Dame. Great outdoor mall right up the street (University Mall) with tons of shopping and restaruants nearby. Typical Fairfield Inn. Good value.
