Upon check-in, my reserved room was given away to someone else. I'm understanding & reasonable so giving me another room wouldn't hurt my feelings. I was placed on the first floor. My first impression when I walked in the room wasnt a good one. There were dark carpet stains that jumped right at me. My impression onward was that there were other places of filth in this room as well. The bathroom was dirty. There was hair in the sink & the shower head was rusted. This is not the place to stay if you have an eye for detail in cleanliness. The staff was friendly but the hotel is not clean.

I stayed for a week at Extended StayAmerica in June 2011 and again in July 2011. I had stayed at another extended stay hotel previously, and there was no comparison. The room, the staff and the location here was so much better. The hotel and room was very clean. The refrigerator and stovetop were clean and ready to use. The kitchen had all of the utensils, dishes and cookware one would need for an extended stay--I used the toaster each day. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and I loved the extra large counter. It was a bit weird to have the bathroom door open out, but nothing to mar my stay. When I return for work next year I will definitely be back. You get exceptional value for the price. The only down side was the fan in the bathroom It goes on automatically when you turn on the light and it is very loud.

I stayed here for four nights to visit family and attend a wedding while traveling with my dog. There are non smoking rooms, but smoking is allowed in rooms on the upper floors, so I could smell the smoke everywhere. Problem solved by opening my window and running th air conditioner constantly.

Rooms are basic, mine with. Two doubles and small kitchette. They charge extra for more than once a week linen changes and refreshes, But with the price, the extra for a refresh once during the stay is minimal, especially since they were so reasonable on pet fees.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice big laundry room and close to many stores and restaurants. I would stay again if is was traveling with the dog. Otherwise they need to change the smoking policy. However, the rooms are relatively clean and the place overall
quiet. Normally I sta in 3 - 4 star hotels., so this was actually better than some other 2 stars I have stayed in. very reasonalyprice.

This hotel was the perfect fit for us. Visting Notre Dame for a football game. Hotel is close to campus. Very clean room and friendly staff. Full kitchen is great addition. We will stay there again !
