We went on a Saturday Night, to specifically play at Hollywood Casino. Hotels around there were typical Saturday Night rates. We got there and the place was packed with kids. It was around 3pm and we were going to head over to the Casino. The shuttle to Hollywood didn't leave until 5, which we probably would have arrived later. I guess I should have asked.
We got into the room. it was okay. Happy to see a nice, big flat screen TV. We were on the second floor. There were people directly above us, simply walking around and it was shaking our room. One of the doors was rattling loudly. We were just going to take a nap, when the front desk asked how the room was. I guess that's a nice touch.
We left at 5, the shuttle went to two different hotels, which I figured it would be exclusivity to that hotel. It wasn't.
I left the casino around midnight with the packed shuttle bus. A drunk young man in the bus threw up all over the place. Great. I know this isn't the hotel's fault, but wow. Hold your liquor dude.
I got back to the room and got woke up by more drunk people yelling either in the hallway or in one of the other rooms nearby at around 4am.
We didn't bother to stop and get breakfast, but this place wasn't worth what we paid. I think if this hotel wasn't around that type of clientele, maybe my opinion would be different, along with the price. Similar Comfort Inns were half the price but the wife and I needed to get away.
