I had occasion to visit this hotel this weekend when a friend and I wanted a local getaway. I booked the room online at a discount rate and was pleasantly surprised.

The check-in was very easy, and the clerk was the nicest I've ever encountered anywhere. The room was on the first floor and was very clean. The TV was new and had a fair amount of channels with 4 premium movie channels. The bathroom was clean and functional. The mattresses were very comfortable, even for me. I normally sleep on a memory foam mattress.

We also used the pool, and found it very well maintained and refreshing.

Breakfast was above average and plentiful. Nice, soft biscuits and sausage gravy was delicious.

There was a good amount of snow on the ground and you could tell by the clear walks and parking lot that whoever had done them took pride in their job.

I will definitely stay here again.

The only negative is that they do not offer smoking rooms. Going outside to smoke in 19 degree weather is not too fun.

We had a room with a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The places that shoot out water looked like they had a film of mildew on them and the tile was black with mold. The button for the on switch was broken off. The rest of the room/bathroom was nice and roomy and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices were very good. Lots of eating places and shopping nearby. We were on the back side of the motel with a nice view of a gazebo and trees and no traffic noise.

The room was spacious and clean, but nothing special. Its an older hotel. The air/heat unit was really noisy. A starbucks next door was pretty nice.

I stayed there just this past weekend (Nov. 2011). I was a little scared because after seeing the pictures online I imagined an outdated place that was falling apart. That was not the case at all. Those pictures must be from when they were remodeling. It looks great now, there's no floral anything, brand new furniture, bedding, wallpaper, carpet, tv, etc. We had a king room it was huge, had a couch, a coffee table, a very nice desk and chair, flat screen tv , several cool looking lamps, small fridge and microwave. For the price you really can't go wrong. Everything was very clean and the staff was really helpful and courteous. The free breakfast was pretty good too, the usual eggs,bacon, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, etc...I was surprised though that they had a waffle maker there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in that area, and actually if all Comfort Suites are like this I will pick them all the time.
